Lauren Temiyakarn can’t commit to a particular medium — and she’s okay with that! For Lauren, art has been a lifelong passion, though her career was spent in healthcare before pursuing art full time.
Relatively new to Chicago (as of 2021), she is inspired by the urban landscape of the city and intrigued by the juxtaposition of sophistication and grit. She uses paper scraps with elements of mark making, graffiti, and peeling paint to create mixed media pieces that evoke the spirit of city life.
