About

As a painter, I have always been interested in the indeterminate space between abstraction and representation – and how one becomes the other and vice versa. Similarly, I’m interested in creation as it relates to nature.

Although, the imagery and space in each of my paintings might suggest some “thing” or some place; it’s somewhere as yet unformed. I hope the paintings suggest a place in the process of being created, or perhaps destroyed, but somehow not fully embodied.
