Sally Rosinus
Pastels

Hi, there. I'm Sally. Thank you for coming to my page. Art is my passion. It is what grounds me and allows me a creative outlet I never knew I needed. A little more than 10 years ago I began to paint. Acrylic was my original medium as I was learning. Over time, and after many breaks, I found my true love of pastels.
My primary focus as an artist is on landscapes. Whether traveling abroad or somewhere in my own back yard of Chicago, I look for art in nature.
Most recently, I joined the Cornelia Arts Building in Lakeview, Chicago. Home to many great artists, I am thrilled to be in their presence and enjoy finding inspiration among them.
A little extra: I was raised as an American living in Germany for most of my childhood and early adult life. I have 3 wonderful children and 4 beautiful grandchildren, and I am lucky that they all live nearby.
