May 2022 Open Studios

Join us for our May open house! Visit one of the largest all-artist buildings on Chicago’s North side, and experience two-full floors of working art studios. The building has undergone extensive remodeling upgrades, and has welcomed many new artists into the building. With one-of-a-kind artwork and special artisan-made gifts, the event offers something for the whole family to enjoy.

The juried guest artist in the remodeled lobby is John Thompson, who is exhibiting landscape and still life oil paintings on canvas.

The Cornelia Arts Building will also be presenting art from the Stolen Sky exhibition, originally held in Chicago in April. Stolen Sky is an art exhibit and print sale of the latest artworks by modern Ukrainian artists. Most creators displayed in the exhibit are currently living and creating in Ukraine, and all displayed artworks have been created since the war began. All raised funds go to the National Humanitarian Aid Funds Of Ukraine.
