Newly-completed building upgrades, new residents and a successful Open Studios night have made for an exciting autumn at the Cornelia Arts Building. As 2021 winds down, there is much to celebrate.
Welcoming the Public Back
Our foray back into building-wide open studio nights was a huge success! Hundreds visited the Cornelia Arts Building’s November 5th Open Studios night – the first we’ve held in two years. Friends and neighbors alike enjoyed making their way through the building, taking in the all the latest work and meeting the newest building residents.
We look forward to having more events in 2022. Expect to see a couple of those event dates announced soon!
New Resident Artists
We’ve welcomed several new residents to the building in the past few months, representing a range of disciplines. Some of our newest artists are now featured on the website. Check out paintings by Maxine Frankel, James Broughton’s architecture-inspired mixed media pieces, multi-disciplinary materials work by Fick Brynn Patterson and the sculpture of Betsy Melchers.
