The Chicago arts publication Third Coast Review recently sent writer Tom Wawzenek to review the Cornelia Arts Building March Open Studio event.

We’re please to announce that the Cornelia Arts Building will host four open studios events this spring, in March and May. We’re looking forward to these events and we hope you’ll join us.

The Cornelia Arts Building residents’ show “Where Art Works”, being exhibited at the Eat Paint Studio + Gallery in Chicago’s Lincoln Square neighborhood, will continue in January with additional events.

Chicago gallery Eat Paint Studio’s new group show, “Where Art Works”, which features the work of Cornelia Arts Building residents, opened on Friday, December 17. The opening night was a great success and there’s more to come at this exhibition.

Chicago art gallery Eat Paint Studio will be exhibiting work by Cornelia Arts Building Residents in the group show “Where Art Works: Artist Communities and Creative Placemaking“, opening in December. The work that gallery owner Emily Rapport has selected represents a range of building residents’ disciplines.

Newly-completed building upgrades, new residents and a successful Open Studios night have made for an exciting autumn at the Cornelia Arts Building. As 2021 winds down, there is much to celebrate.

The building has undergone significant changes in the past several months and we’re excited to show them off, so we are happy to announce a building-wide open house to be held Friday, November 5th, 2021, and that’s not all the news we have to share.

The Cornelia Arts Building residents wish all of our visitors, patrons and friends a healthy and safe fall. Although the pandemic prevents us from holding any of our fun open studio events, as we’d normally be doing right now, the building residents continue to produce new and interesting work.
